Article 1 — Subject
These Terms of Sale (ToS) govern the contractual relationship between PROVA (hereinafter "PROVA") and any individual or legal entity (hereinafter the "Buyer") making a purchase on the app.prova.io or prova.io platform.
Any purchase implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Sale.
Article 2 — Definitions
- Voucher: a unique access code granting the right to sit a PROVA certification exam.
- Certification: a professional credential awarded by PROVA upon passing an exam.
- Candidate: any individual using a voucher to sit a PROVA exam.
- Candidate portal: personal interface accessible at app.prova.io.
- Enterprise portal: interface dedicated to organisations at app.prova.io.
Article 3 — Acceptance of Terms
The purchase of any PROVA product or service constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Sale.
The Buyer declares having read and understood these terms before making a purchase.
PROVA reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The applicable Terms are those in force at the date of purchase.
Article 4 — Products and Services
PROVA offers:
- Individual or bulk certification vouchers
- Access to the certification preparation LMS
- PROVA Talent subscriptions for organisations
Available certifications are described at prova.io/certifications. PROVA reserves the right to modify its catalogue at any time.
Article 5 — Pricing and Payment
Prices are shown in euros inclusive of all taxes. VAT not applicable under article 261-4-4° of the French General Tax Code for training services.
Accepted payment methods:
- Credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe
- PayPal
- SEPA bank transfer (organisations only, on purchase order)
Payment is due immediately upon ordering. The order is confirmed upon receipt of payment.
Article 6 — Certification Vouchers
6.1 Validity
Each voucher is valid for a fixed period from the date of purchase — generally 12 months. The exact duration is indicated at the time of purchase.
6.2 Use
A voucher is personal and may only be used by the person to whom it has been assigned. It grants one exam attempt.
6.3 Transfer
An unactivated voucher may be transferred to another user via the enterprise portal. An activated voucher cannot be transferred.
6.4 Expiry
An expired voucher cannot be used and does not entitle the holder to a refund, except in cases of force majeure as assessed by PROVA.
Article 7 — Exam Conditions
7.1 Identity verification
Candidates must present a valid identity document before any exam — online or at an approved centre.
7.2 Rules of conduct
Any fraudulent behaviour (communication with a third party, use of unauthorised documents, identity fraud) results in immediate exam cancellation without refund and may lead to account suspension.
7.3 Rescheduling
An exam may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before it begins, free of charge. After this deadline, the voucher is considered used.
7.4 Technical incidents
In the event of a technical incident attributable to PROVA during the exam, a new voucher is provided to the candidate free of charge.
Article 8 — Results and Certificates
8.1 Results
Results are communicated immediately after exam submission. They are final and cannot be contested on the merits.
8.2 Certificates
The PDF certificate is generated automatically upon passing. It is digitally signed by PROVA and downloadable from the candidate portal.
8.3 Certificate validity
The validity period of the certificate is indicated on each certification page. Upon expiry, the certificate is no longer valid unless renewed.
Article 9 — Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period.
For unactivated vouchers, a 14-day withdrawal period applies from the date of purchase, provided the voucher has not been used.

Article 10 — Refunds
10.1 Unactivated vouchers
An unactivated voucher may be refunded within 14 days of purchase upon request to support@prova.io.
10.2 Activated vouchers
An activated voucher (exam scheduled or in progress) cannot be refunded.
10.3 PROVA technical incident
In the event of a technical incident attributable to PROVA that prevented the exam from taking place, PROVA will offer either a new voucher or a full refund.
10.4 Processing time
Refunds are processed within 10 business days via the same payment method as the original purchase.
Article 11 — Liability
PROVA cannot be held liable for:
- The professional consequences of obtaining or failing to obtain a certification
- Service interruptions due to external causes (network outage, force majeure)
- Input errors made during registration or payment
PROVA's liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned.
Article 12 — Personal Data
The processing of personal data is governed by PROVA's Privacy Policy, available at prova.io/confidentialite.
In accordance with the GDPR, the Buyer has the right of access, rectification, erasure and portability of their personal data. These rights may be exercised at privacy@prova.io.
Article 13 — Intellectual Property
All content on the PROVA platform (certifications, exam questions, frameworks, trademarks, logos) is the exclusive property of PROVA and is protected by intellectual property law.
Any reproduction, distribution or use without express authorisation is prohibited and may be subject to legal proceedings.
Article 14 — Applicable Law and Disputes
These Terms of Sale are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought as a priority. Failing agreement, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris.
